The Opening of Ducati Calgary
Calgary, Alberta – April 20, 2010 – Ducati North America is pleased to announce appointment of a new Dealer in Calgary, Ducati Calgary, located south of the airport at 2475 Pegasus Road NE in a brand new facility currently under development.
Ducati Calgary will operate as a division of Wild & Wild Inc. and is led by well known industry executive Jim Wild. The dealership will be able to immediately offer vehicle sales, service, parts and accessories, even while construction continues on the largest Motorcycle Technology Centre in Canada; however, the dealership will not be fully open until this winter with a Grand Opening scheduled around the Calgary Motorcycle Show in January of 2011.
In conjunction with approved market development plan for Calgary, the focus of this dealership will be service. To execute this at an even higher level of customer satisfaction, investment has been made into a 27,000 square foot Technology Centre that will feature the largest and best equipped service department in Canada. Planned for phase II (winter 2010/2011), is a 3-dyno diagnostic center, full machine shop, welding and fabrication centre, insurance repair bay, restoration services, bike wash and detail centre, and winter storage for customer motorcycles! The staged development plan also features increased investment in parts and accessories to support the Service Department and eliminate unnecessary customer wait time for orders. By spring of 2011, the facility will offer additional Ducati trained technicians, including some at the Ducati Master Certification level. More programs of interest to Ducati owners that have not previously been offered in Calgary will be announced later this year. For example, ask us about the arrival of “Club Ducati.”
The core team consists of passionate Ducati enthusiasts and brings many years of industry experience. We expect others to join us as the project unfolds.
